Webinar | The critical leadership skill: coaching

In this interactive webinar, Professor Jones will propose that coaching is a critical leadership skill for leading high performing teams. Professor Jones will define coaching as a leadership skill. She will share insights from the research literature that identify the benefits of coaching as a leadership skill to individuals, teams and organisations.

Participants will explore some common misconceptions about coaching as a leadership skill. Finally, she will propose that to develop coaching as a leadership skill, we must focus on the pillars of effective coaching: self-awareness, listening, asking questions, goal-setting and focusing on action and accountability as well as fostering a coaching mindset.
