Written by Henley | 24.6.2024

The rich history of Henley Business School spans more than seven decades. Henley Business School was established at Greenlands in Henley, UK, at the end of the second World War. The Henley MBA was launched in 1985, and shortly thereafter, Henley began the journey towards becoming a truly international school.

Henley Business School has expanded internationally with now campuses, offices and partnerships around the world, over 7,000 students yearly from more than 100 countries and over 97,000 alumni from 160 countries. And with the ongoing global strategy process, Henley will further enhance international collaboration.

Finland leads the delivery of the Nordic EMBA intake 2024

Henley Business School has been delivering the Henley EMBA in various countries, and this year the intake is more diverse than ever. The cohorts are formed in the UK and the Nordics, and this is the first year that we also hope to welcome a group from Henley Africa to join the Global EMBA. We have already been ranked number 1 in faculty diversity by the Financial Times, 2023, and now we want to offer an even more diverse student experience.

The cohorts from different countries will meet and work with their international peers in joint global workshops, which are organised this time around in the UK and Finland. In addition to the workshops, the cohorts will also do immersion study trips to South Africa as part of the Reputation and Responsibility module and to the US during the International Business module. Also, all Global EMBA students will gather in Helsinki in December 2024 to learn about Nordic leadership and sustainable development goals at a 3-day Managing People workshop.

Henley Finland will be leading the commercialisation and delivery of the Global EMBA in the Nordics. The renewed Global EMBA, including the Nordic intake, kicks off in October 2024.
