Learning isn’t only a cognitive activity; it can be an emotional one too. As our organisations need to adapt to changing conditions and challenges, our people need to learn and grow to keep up and meet those challenges effectively. But what kind of learning is most useful?

Embodied learning goes beyond traditional methods of teaching, focusing on the non-mental factors and the role of the whole body in learning.

At Henley, we have organised impactful Equine Assisted Leadership Development workshops, where leaders get to learn about non-verbal communication, the connection beyond words, deeper meaning of presence, connection-creation and influencing.

Join the webinar to learn more about this impactful learning method.

Leaders need to learn how to learn

Quite often the world is changing so rapidly that information goes out of date very quickly. Even cutting-edge ways of thinking still need to be adapted to make them relevant to each organisation’s particular situation. This means that our leaders need to be knowledgeable and creative, critical thinkers. It also means that they have to learn how to learn; be able to critically reflect and be self-aware enough to notice when some part of themselves is getting in the way.

So, how do we support leaders to learn in this holistic, whole person way? We must work with the body as well as the head and the heart.

Do you want to find out more?

Join us for this webinar, where Sue Binks will talk about the state and challenges of learning and leadership development, introducing embodied learning as an alternative approach. Sue will then take the audience to equine-assisted learning, a method for which Sue is famously known, and one that she has used with a number of organisations to improve the impact of leadership development.

Agenda

  • Embodied learning: equine-assisted leadership development by Sue Binks
