In the fourth episode of Henley's Personal Development Podcast, Dr Chris Dalton speak with MBA Alumnus, Simon Kaczmarek, an HR specialist at SimCorp.

Dr Chris Dalton


Dr Chris Dalton is Associate Professor of Management Learning and module convener for Personal Development at Henley Business School. He is also the recipient of a University Teaching Fellowship (2022-23).

Chris joined Henley Business School in 2005 and was Programme Director for the Distance/Flexible Learning MBA until 2010. He teaches on the Henley Business School MBA and DBA.

His research is focused on the use of reflection in personal development in post-experience management education. His first book, The Every Day MBA, was published at the beginning of 2015 and his second, Brilliant Strategy for Business, in 2016. In 2019, he published MBA Day By Day. His latest book, The Integrated Leader: a Foundation for Lifelong Management Learning, was released in 2021.

Simon Kaczmarek

Simon Kaczmarek (Henley MBA Alumnus) is a HR specialist at Talentcast with experience in crafting and leading P&C functions that support growth and international business. His sweet spot is the intersection between business, talent, strategy and tech.Simon is passionate about creating a workplace where teams and team members thrive, and are enabled to contribute, irrespective of their background, but conditioned on their skills and behavioural fit.

He has experience building recruitment functions, HR operations, designing talent management programs, crafting organizational and team cultures, internationalization, performance management and leadership. Simon has completed an MBA and Executive education from Harvard, Wharton and Henley Business School.
