Case Trioworld: Leaders of the Future
Trioworld is a leader in plastic packaging solutions with a compelling mission to become the forerunner in leading the industry into circularity. The current and rapidly changing socio-economic-political environment, the context of the digital economy and the transformation growth plans requires that Trioworld’s leaders are well equipped to lead renewal and transform the business through people.
The programme was designed and launched in Autumn 2023.
'The Trioworld Senior Leadership Programme is an excellent example of how to use leadership learning as a lever for organisational and sectoral transformation.
The Trioworld Group is on an ambitious journey which will have a significant and very positive impact on the plastics industry - the leadership learning designed in partnership with Henley in the Nordics has and will equip the senior leaders of the Group with the technical and human-centric capabilities to influence this transformation.
However an important point - effective transformation is not just about skills and capabilities - it's all about mindset. It is clear that the senior leaders of the Trioworld Group have the mindset - the motivation, the passion, the ambition - to deliver this future.'

Introduction & Objectives
Henley and Trioworld together designed and launched a senior leader’s development programme to develop required capabilities, skills and mindsets to lead the transformation of the company.
The aim of the programme was to develop Trioworld’s future leaders to become the ambassadors of change and making them feel as forerunners of the whole industry. People who lead the way on how the group works and communicates it to the organisation.
Solution & Impact
DEVELOPMENT JOURNEY
In cooperation with Trioworld executive committee and board representatives, Henley designed a development journey that combines Trioworld’s current business challenges, experimental learning and elements that are relevant for leaders in continuously changing business environment: freedom to fail, brave leadership and influencing for transformation. It was designed to deliver impact at a personal, team, organisational and even sectoral level.

The programme covers topics such as:
- Strategic & Future thinking
- Tactical, technical and human-centric skills
- Capabilities to drive the transformation; the mindset: beliefs, behaviours & habits
- Influencing skills, such as communication, facilitation & collaboration, to catalyse transformation across the matrix organisation;
- leader as teacher' skills & capabilities to spread knowledge across their teams/business units
- the tools & techniques to build psychological safety and so encourage a culture of experimentation, learning and innovation.
